Wasserman received her AA in Art from Canada College, Redwood City, California and is currently finishing undergraduate work at San Francisco State University. She is a member of several art associations including: Redwood City Art Center, Vice President - 1993; Redwood City Cooperative Art Gallery, Treasurer - 1994; and Women's Caucus for Art.
Her art experience includes: 3 years in oil and acrylic painting; 20 years in fiber arts, design and construction; 10 years in harness weaving; 4 years as a motorcycle racing photographer (published in Sidecarist, On the Level, BMW News, Cycle Lines, and Good News magazines); free-lance logo and patch design work; desktop publishing; and creation and production of two 16mm animated films (one was aired on Minnesota Public Television).
